Renwick is a husband and beloved father of 4 from Guyana who has been detained for the past 10 months in Moshannon Valley Detention Center. Yesterday, he finally got a bond of $10,000, and there is nothing his wife, Daune, wants more for Mother’s Day than to have him home. A member of New Sanctuary Movement, Daune is turning to the power of community to reunite her family. She has been able to raise $3,000 on her own, but needs our help to raise the remaining $7,000. Can you donate and help get Renwick home to his family? When Renwick and his wife moved to the US with their children, they began the legal immigration process. They raised their kids, Renwick started his own business, and joined a church. It was their hope that things would get better, but they were misled by a man who falsely claimed to be a legal immigration consultant. Now, Renwick has been isolated from his family for 10 months in a detention facility. Faith in God and in the NSM community, Renwick says, are what keep him going. NSM's Community Fund has freed many people from detention, and it has always been through the power of people coming together. Help us reunite Renwick with his family as they prepare to fight to keep him home for good. Will you help bring Renwick home for Mother’s Day?
